Cardinal FG, a float glass manufacturer for residential windows in Portage, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician interested in working with a company on the cutting edge of technology who takes great pride in providing an extremely safe and clean environment. 

Our proactive, team-based environment thrives on day-to-day problem solving with respectful and collaborative technicians. The schedule requires working twelve-hour shifts rotating days and nights, three or four shifts/week.

We are looking for someone with:

• Combination of two years’ education/experience in one of these areas:
  • Industrial Electricity
  • Welding/Fabrication
  • Machine shop experience
  • Mechanical experience - related to Industrial environment.
• Industrial Electrical Experience preferred

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least two years’ maintenance experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Pass a pre-employment physical ability test, background and drug screen
